Firetrap's Spring and Summer Collection 2008

Preppy Punk: Collegiate influences enter through relaxed blazers, stripes, and easy layering
and make for a slender silhouette. Garments carry internal graffiti; some with badges whilst
others are embellished with cotton binding. Jersey pieces appear with stripes and preppy tees
are given a harder edge with graphic prints. Asymmetric pockets and twin needle darting add
attention to detail.

Riviera Punk: The silhouette loosens and fabrics are lighter, with lightweight cotton checks for
jackets, and 100% linen shirts and trousers. Paisley appears adding to the printed stripe and
check offer. Double-cuffs appear on shirting, shorts are key, and a new shape emerges, the
tunic shirt – straight and loose.

Key Details: Deadly gnome rivets, self-colour washed logos, punk inspired linings. Retro
geometric prints, paisley, mini florals and colour blocked stripes.

Palette: Trans-seasonal neutrals tempered by flashes of colour – Antarctic, light khaki, mint,
marble through to yellow, paprika, sky and lavender.

Accessories: Men’s accessories have a clear punk undertone. Bags and satchels with pop
colour detailing. Leather and suede mixes range from garment dyed to worn down and
creased. Gift sets and socks have playful and edgy takes on patterns. Headwear includes
chipped painted trilby straw hats and classic key pieces. Belts are offered with heavy
embellishment, edgy buckles, printed leathers and webbings through to key branded pieces.
